Hey guys. I'm having issues with the 30 inch Cinema Display I recently bought. The screws on the stand are tight and the tilt mechanism works great. But they seem to stand out.

The screws go in and out smoothly and the screw thread is fine, but they simply don't go inside completely. The screws are these:

Would be very helpful if you suggest what might be the problem. Thanks!

I have taken one apart before. Its easy.

If you want to tighten the screw you can't tighten it while the monitor is standing.

You have to face the screen down on a piece of carpet or sometn and remove the 2 big screws then insert it again. It only has one way to fit so you can't put it in wrong. Move the stand around until you can pop in the screws all the way in with your hand.

They sure aren't right in the picture....They should fit flush like the BT KB battery screws etc.

I'd check they sent you the right ones...Those look a little too long. Whatever you do DON'T over tighten them. You could easily cause damage to your new display.
