Cinema Display fullscreen issues

Hi, just wondering if I could get some help on using my new cinema display. The problem i have is that whenever I want to use both the cinema display screen for watching a video fullscreen (ex. youtube or MLB TV) and the Macbook Pro screen at the same time, whenever I click on the Macbook pro screen, the video on the display goes back to normal size. I was wondering if there were any remedies so that I could keep the video on the cinema display to fullscreen, while still using the macbook pro's screen at the same time.
