I am contemplating purchasing a 15inch MacBook Pro with the thunderbolt cinema display. I am also planning on purchasing a MacBook air after the 1st quarter update for my girlfriend.

The goal is to have a shared docking station at home with the use of a larger screen & wired eathernet when need be.

Two Questions:

1. Can 1 wireless keyboard & magic mouse be shared at this station between the two computers. Does the keyboard and mouse connect to the display or the computer in the vicinity?

2. If an external hard drive is hooked up to the display, can it be accessable by either computer that is connected to it via the thunderbolt cable?

Thanks in advance
