Hallo,

I have just ordered a Mac Pro and I have already a 23" Cinema Display. I would like to add a web cam for video conferencing, but after some googling, I have discovered that iSight is still the best cam, while other cams are supported but not with great results.
So, I am here looking for an advice... before looking for a used iSight on eBay, could you suggest me any new working alternative webcam which fits with the cinema display?

Thanks to all!

I genuinely would recommend you go with the iSight. I know they're pricey but they do also hold their value very well.

mmmh... so no new alternative is comparable to iSight?

I don't understand why Apple does not provide a web cam for those buying a Cinema Display. Or a MacPro. Maybe Apple is planning to embed the camera in the next revision of display products. But ALL the old buyers are still lacking of a reliable web cam. And I think they are a quite huge number.

Sigh.
