Cinema Display Turning Off Randomly

One of my 30" Cinemas is just turning off randomly. It still covered by Applecare. It's also gotten really yellow/orange/grey hued in the past few weeks as well - which is odd. I have not changed any settings at all since then. I'm thinking it's going bad. It's been a great display so far... and I have another 30" which is perfect.

My question is, can I just go to apple store and exchange it for a new one? Or will they give me some old refurbished unit, or send it in for testing to determine if it is broken?

any input would be greatly appreciated.

Called the Apple store they told me to make a genius bar appointment and bring it in...eh. I don't think this will work, it only does it once in a while. How can I get them to just give me a new one on the spot?

anyone?
