The CinemaView 24in dispay is only $399 usd now. Does that make it a good buy? You can get two for less than one apple 27in led. Comments and opinions on this display...

Just FYI, you're looking at a $400 TN panel with 1920x1080!

You can get these things for less than 200 bucks! TN isn't comparable to the S-IPS panels Apple uses whatsoever.

You can get a IPS panel of that size for slightly less than $400, for example from NEC and those displays will blow away that crappy CinemaView fake thing.

It's not a TN panel... it's an S-MVA panel.

Sounds odd considering the really poor viewing angles, but as an owner of the display you probably know better than me!

But my arguments are still valid, regardless of whether it uses TN or S-MVA panels. You can get a (superior) e-IPS NEC display with the same resolution for $330 on newegg.
