HOW do you guys get Cinemax Go on your ATV 4 and is Cinemax even worth having? I already have Netflix, HBO Go, Showtime, Just looking for other viewing options for my shutin( not disabled just retired) life.

Cinemax currently has no app for the 4th gen. Apple TV. You'd have to use AirPlay to get the video from an iDevice to your ATV. Have you considered Starz, also?

I have DIRECTV Now and MAX is only $5 extra so it is worth it to me. But at $15 it would not be.
Thanks, I have Directv and can't change that. Hubby watches his own tv and is extremely non tech so he manages to use the DTV remote. I could add Cinemax there but it is harder to cancel than online within ITunes.
You can get it through Hulu as an add-on (assuming you're a Hulu subscriber).
Cinemax tends to have more adult fare. As noted above, many Cinemax movies eventually make it to HBO. The series do not. All are well done, and are generally co-produced with a foreign network.
My suspicion is there's no AppleTV app because of the nature of content. it's no secret the network is sometimes referred to as Skin-e-max. I know Apple takes heat some times for HBO/Showtime and their anti-porn stance. That noted, I wouldn't not classify either HBO, Showtime, or Cinemax as porn.
It does amaze me that the US loves to broadcast freedom of speech and artistic expression, yet there are very effective groups that sole existence is to limit the fare you see to what they view as acceptable. It's called an "off" button or a "channel change." You don't approve. I support you 100% not to watch it.

Except that does not work when you live in a family that watches that and you hate it. Maybe that is why Cinemax only has a mobile app.

I get Cinemax for free with my cable subscription, but I never use it and never really miss not having an ATV4 app. If they decide to come out with one, I'll probably install it and check it out. But the regular p0nr on the internet is better anyway

I can't recall if it's Starz or Epix, but one of them has significant amount of adult content, and both have ATV apps.
There's a Cinemax iOS app, I think it's more some kind of silly internal gyration at the channels corporate office.
