Cingular 8525, PB G4, Missing Sync, and Epocrates

I just got a Cingular 8525 - it's pretty cool. I decided I couldn't wait until the iPhone came out to enter into the world of smartphones. Anyway, I connect to my PB G4 (rev. D) via MissingSync, and it's worked well, so far. I want to be able to put Epocrates (a medicine database) on my phone. I can probably get access to a Windows PC to download the software (Epocrates only works with Palm OS on the Mac, not Windows Mobile). The question - can I then sync as normally with my Mac, or will it (or MissingSync, or my phone) have a cow?
