Cingular usb wireless card compatiability with router

Does anyone know if I could take the cingular wireless card shown here: http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-ph.../?device=AT&T+USBConnect+881&q_sku=sku1120017
and somehow hook it up into a router and make it wireless throughout my house? Where we live right now, we do not have the availability to highspeed internet so that is probobly are only alternative to highspeed internet. And does anyone know if this lags like if I were to play xbox live on it ?
