Hey guys,

I was pondering something for a friend. He bought a MacBook pro on Monday and got an iPod touch with the back to school promo. He's already sent the rebate, but due to his busy schedule he hasn't opened either the MacBook nor the iPod.

Do you think he could exchange the iPod touch for the new one? What if he waited forte money to come first?

Just a thought.

Nope, to get the rebate you need to send in the UPC, thus the iPod would be ineligible for a simple return, as well as the new iPods not being eligible for the back to school discount.

they have those giveaways for a reason....to clear old stock out for the new updates
