Circus Ponies Notebook?

Hi,

Has anyone used Circus Ponies Notebook for organizing and taking notes? I like the notebook layout, can you change the style of the notebook and color? I was using the notebook layout in Microsoft Word for MAC.

Are there any other programs that are better then Circus Ponies?

I use Circus Ponies' Notebook. Yes, you can change the color and style. It is a very capable program. I like the fact that I can insert screenshots etc. It also works with the services menu to conveniently insert content from other sources. I also like the fact that it allows you to record from within they applications (lectures etc.). It really handles a wide variety of information in different formats quite well.

Are there better programs? Depends on what you need it for. There are certainly many other similar apps out there. I tend to use Circus Ponies for most of my note taking, but I use DEVONthink for managing larger bodies of research. It is even more flexible, but it might be overkill.
