I'm trying to remotely connect to a pc on our VPN. I can do this with a pc at work (pc-to-pc) and I'm trying to do the same with a mac using the mac versions of the same software - Cisco AnyConnect and Microsoft's Remote Desktop - on the mac I'm using Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac (v. 2.1.1).
On the mac, the VPN connection goes fine, but when I try to connect with remote desktop, I immediately get the message:
You were disconnected from the Windows-based computer because of network problems.
There don't seem to be any relevant settings on either piece of software to explain why this works on the pc but not on the mac.
Any suggestions? I've tried searching the web and forums here, but couldn't find anything helpful.
Thanks,
Matthew
