Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Cisco X3000 and Apple Devices?

I basically need a new ADSL Modem Router, the one provided by my ISP does not support the Bonjour feature so currently I have no AirPrint or AirPlay capabilities.

I was going to buy a AirPort Express to connect to my current router to give me AirPlay capabilities but my current router has no "Modem Only" option and is totally locked down by my ISP. Search google for "BT Home Hub Airplay" and you will see all the problems :D

So I was looking for an ADSL Modem Router which is rock solid, under £80 and Bonjour/Airplay compatible so hoping the Cisco X3000 will do the job.

If anyone has any experience with this device or knows a great alternative I would love to hear from you :)

Thanks in Advance!

So will it work in the following way:

  • Disable Wireless on BT Home Hub
  • Connect AirPort Express to Home Hub via Cable
  • Connect all my tech to the Airport Express Wireless

Will that not cause a Double Nat Error or anything like that?
