The strangest thing happened to me yesterday I went to the mailbox got my mail and it was an $1800 check from citizens one bank. It said it was for a refund for a loan I deposited in my account and it cleared no more than 30 to 45 minutes later, I got a phone call from someone who said they worked for citizens one and said that that check was stopped. It was a mistake by citizens one and they sent out a bunch of checks to people. I told him I already deposited it and they said well it’s gonna bounce but it didn’t bounce. has anybody else had this problem getting a refund check from citizens one for an iPhone loan citizens one says the checks were stopped and other people got them not just me. I don’t know if it was a scam or not please help.

I did. No response yet.

I’m just seeing if anyone else went thru this.

Just wait. Checks don't usually bounce that fast. When banks clear a check. It's usually a good faith move. Well before funds are actually transferred through the banking system.

It may take a few weeks for it to bounce. Just watch your account. If after 30 days it doesn't bounce. Contact them. If it does and they try charging a fee for depositing a bad check. Contact them.
