I work at a place where I access work remotely through Citrix. Currently using the latest version, 20.12 (Citrix Workspace/Viewer) and latest Big Sur on a Mac mini M1.

I was told that our Citrix server did not support 3440x1440 resolution, but this appears to be not the case because I've been able to have my monitor's native resolution work a few times, both with MS Edge and with Safari.

However, after a few logins it somehow breaks and then I am not able to ever get my native resolution again, so it appears to be a client-side issue. I believe there is a connection between the ability of a browser to automatically launch the ica client and achieving this resolution.

HAs anyone encountered anything similar ? Is there a way to get Safari 14 to automatically launch the ica client without it popping up a permission dialog? I tried the .plist solution provided in the Citrix forums, but it did not work.
