Hi there,
My school uses Citrix XenApp for virtualization so I can launch enterprise-level software from remote locations to do assignments and stuff. It requires the Citrix XenApp browser plugin to work.
For whatever reason, when I installed Parallels and then launched something from Citrix on my Mac, it booted up Citrix for Windows (in Parallels) and launched the program there, rather than on the Mac side. Thinking this would do the trick, I uninstalled the plugin on the Windows side and restarted my computer altogether (thinking this would undo the "incorrect mapping" to Parallels). Now when I launch something from Citrix on the Mac side, it does nothing. I've done the browser tests and stuff (Mac side) and I have the appropriate software plugin to run Citrix XenApp.
Now, my guess is that Citrix on the Mac side is still incorrectly mapped to Parallels and it doesn't find any app available in Parallels (Windows) which is why it does nothing. How do I make it so Citrix XenApp does not "map" to Windows (Parallels)?
I repeat: this is not a problem with Citrix nor Parallels. It's just incorrectly mapped and I, for the life of me, can't figure out how to stop Mac from attempting to look in Windows (Parallels) for Citrix! Citrix is already on my Mac!
I need Citrix to launch on my Mac, otherwise I won't be able to do this dang assignment, lol.
Thanks in advanced. Any ideas?
