Hi,
I am very interested in the city and decided to set up this thread. It is predominantly for pictures of many lights or city skylines at night.
I though it would be a good idea for people to post their own photos. I found these on the internet for inspiration.

Sorry. Images like this one. I think it looks quite cool.

Yepp, interested to see some city skylines taken by fellow MR. :)

Which city is that featured in the image above?

Oh, and I might aswell add:
City Lights = Light Pollution = Annoyed Astronomers :p

Well, not exactly cityscape pictures, but there are some of the pics i think fits the bill. These are Toronto as seen from the Skypod of the CN tower. It's so high, you can even see the earth's curavture. :D

Taken with a Fuji4700 i got from '99. Considering the age, that camera takes awesome pictures.

What a waste of electricity.

Lots of cities have towers. ;) I'm from Toronto, and ®îçhå®?'s photo isn't Toronto or the CN tower.

I really can't guess. Could it be Vancouver? Seattle? San Francisco? Sydney?

Here's 5 of the same skyline. It's the world's only lights and fireworks show that happens every day. Sometimes there's no fireworks, but there's always a light show. Look at all 5 photos and watch how the lights in the buildings change.

That my friend, is Hong Kong :)

Edit: Wow, just noticed. This photo must have been from at least a year ago as the IFC Tower is still under construction. Now, it towers above the Bank of China Tower.

^^Yes it is, and these weren't from a year ago. They're from 5 months ago, at most.

I didn't think anyone would try describing them! :p They're flashing and changing colours all the time, so I thought it was cool and different. :)

yea, that's a reflection on a window. There are no outdoor observation area on the skypod, it's a small little room, so all the viewing has to be done from behind the glass. :p
