Civ 6 free

I’ve been told that Civilization 6 at Epic Games Store is free but it appears to only have a Windows link. I’m not a gamer at all but if there is a Mac version for free I’d certainly give it a try. Not knowing how this works, is there typically a Mac version?

I don't know if the Epic game store only has the PC version only but it clear the ultimate edition that is free is PC only. I went to the website, logged in and got the free version but I cannot download it via my Mac

When Steam has its sales. The MacOS version of Civ 6 is really cheap. I'm assuming it's the same with Gog.
