On my Clamshell iBook SE, I'm able to have voice chats through iChat because the computer says I have an audio input source. This source is listed as Built-in Audio (modm). Anyone have any idea how to utilize this, and what this is?

Wasn't there a built in microphone in there? I just checked mactracker, but couldn't find it. Correct me if I am wrong, but you also have a mic in port on it (3,5 mm) don't you? That is probably the port it is referring to!
It sounds like the built in audio is the microphone on your iBook. Try opening up iMove and go to sounds then scream at your computer, if you see the sound level jump then you know you have a mic.

opening any version of imovie would take a while on an ibook. go make some coffee while you are waiting.. maybe do your taxes
