I have an old claris works file I would like to open. It will not open in Pages or Word. Is there anyway to open this.

You cannot download AppleWorks from anywhere legally. Only updaters are available for download.
I say open the file in TextEdit and extract the text. Honestly this will be the quickest solution.
GimmeSlack12's suggestion works, but only in a fashion. You get only the text. You lose all graphics and formatting. If your files are in AppleWorks 6 format, then you can open them in Pages--if you have Pages. Pages retains all formatting. However, it seems not to support all AW 6 document types, so YMMV.
