I am working on an iPhone App and am stumped with how to add code to make a 911 (emergency) call. I have searched through Apple's online documentation and both their forums and MR, and I can not find anything.

Can anyone help with a pointer to the right class to use for this, or other documentation? In my app, I alert the user at one point and ask if they want to dial 911 (US) for an emergency. I just don't know where to find the documentation to place a call if the user selects OK in the alert.

Thanks in advance for any advice. I've been reading MR for about 3 years since I bought my first MacBook and I hope to be able to support these forums with some answers of my own over time.
