classic app (game) problem

I just bought a cheap copy (new) of Duke Nukem3d online. It's for OS9, so I figured it'd run under classic. Wrong assumption. It seems to be a graphic compatability issue. I get the initial startup logo for the game, and the audio, but then it just quits.

i've set the colors to 256 per instructions, and tried resolutions down to 800x600, but it still quits.

Any ideas? I only spent a couple of bucks on it, but i'd still like to enjoy it.
