Classic Buckle Not Sold Separately?

It doesn't look like the Classic Buckle is available to purchase separately...think it's an error in the Apple Store?

Sorry, it looks like user error on my part. If you go to Store->Apple Watch>Bands&Accessories, it doesn't show the Classic Buckle. But if from that last window you click Bands, it'll list the Classic

thats more than a half decent watch costs by itself, and half the price of the sport watch itself!!

how is that justified at all?

I will buy the basic and then wait for the third party bands to hit the stores

Apple apparently went all out with the leather quality, using tanneries that high end watch makers might use. You should see how much leather straps cost from a higher end watchmaker.

I once had a $500 Movado Museum watch. The replacement strap was $125.
