I'm trying to get OS9 classic environment running on my mac mini G4.

At the moment I've installed OSX10.4 and then copied the system folder form OS9.2.2 CD to the hard drive then tried starting classic. That was a fail... the classic environment says the system folder cannot be copied.

I have retail osx 10.4 disk and os9 9.2.2 disk.

please help

Find OEM disk

Those macs have a special OEM disk they came with that allows OS 9 (bootable or not) to run on the late model G4. Gonna have to get that. It won't work from another system OEM disk. If its a retail 9.2.1 disk it definitely won't work.

Good luck
