I just read something about how old laser printers--I still use a LaserWriter 16/600--need to be reconfigured to work with Snow Leopard. Unfortunately, I use to know how to do things with the Classic OS's "Apple Print Utility" but I don't think that there is an OS X equivalent. Does anyone know of one? All I want to do is be able to do the normal things: turn on/off the start up page, find out the IP address, load fonts, etc. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

Update

I don't know if this will help, but here's the error message I get from the printer when I try to print. If there is no way to get this to work, I'll buy another printer. However, I don't want to toss it in the trash before I try everything first--it has worked well for me for years now!
