Weird Bluetooth issue; began with iOS 11 through 11.1b5 on my 8+

1) Pair Bluetooth headset.
2) Go To: Settings/General/Accessibility/Home Button/& check Voice Control
3) Use Bluetooth headset to attempt Voice Control dialing. Tone will be heard in headset, Voice Control box will appear, "Call XYZ", Voice modulation animation shows software is receiving sound from Bluetooth headset, confirmation tone will be heard in headset, but phone will revert to home screen with no voice dialing.

Voice dialing IS possible when:

1) Siri is active; through Bluetooth headset
2) Siri is active & Home Button is depressed, OR

3) Siri is disabled, Bluetooth is off/disconnected, Accessibility/Home Button/Voice Control is checked, Home Button is depressed, and voice command is given.

Can anyone confirm this problem? It wasn't present on my 6+ running 11.0. I like Siri and all, but depending upon your WiFi and cellular connection, it can be very laggy.
