Hi everyone I have a early 2011 15" MacBook Pro 2ghz inter core i7 that I would like to give to my brother, but would like to take off all my information and reset it to factory settings. Can someone help me?

If your drive has a recovery partition, don't reformat that partition. You can then boot to the recovery partition to re-install OSX.
