Hi folks

I've had my rMBP 15" for a couple of weeks and loving it. Today when I was writing, I noticed some dust along the edge of the trackpad and tried to wipe it of, however it just fell down the gap between the trackpad and the housing (the lower end of trackpad). I didn't want this dust to cause any problems later, so I used the thin paper that came with the Macbook (to protect the screen from keys) and inserted it in the gab and ran it along the line to get away the dust.

Afterward I wondered if this may cause any damage? The paper can't be inserted that far, but could this action (the paper) cause any damage to the inside components or anything?

What do you guys do to prevent dust accumulating in that gap?

I doubt the paper will harm your MBP, but I honestly did not even notice the space until reading this thread. :)
