Clean install iphone sync

So, i'm thinking about a clean install of Lion due to some problems i've been having. I currently sync my iPhone to my mac and i'd like to continue doing that. If i just copy over all my music and my iTunes folder to my fresh install, will the phone just sync like nothing happened or is there something else i need to do. (i came up with this after some quick googleling)

Should not be an issue. You will just have to re-authorize your Mac to play music and such. I have done that particular procedure of wiping a machine and restoring many times and never had any issues with iDevice syncing afterwards.
