Clean Install of ML has 24.29 GB used

Hello,

I just did a complete install of ML. I erased my hard drive and installed ML from my bootable thumb drive. The ML file is 4.4GB after the install I am using 24.29GB. Is this normal? I haven't done any updates or installed any other applications. Thanks T

I think I found my answer.

ML takes up roughly 8GB + a sleep image based on the amount of RAM installed = "other"

8+16=24GB in my case
