Clean install of W7 over XP partition

I have a previously existing XP bootcamp partition that I would like to upgrade to Windows 7. I know that I must to a full install of Windows 7 over XP, and thats fine.

When I insert the Windows 7 disk and restart my computer, I am presented with 4 icons to choose. The first two are the normal OSX and XP partitions. Then there are two disk icons, one says "Windows" and the other says "EFI Boot." Which one do I choose? Will Windows 7 be installed onto the correct partition?

OR

Using Bootcamp Assist, should I just erase my old XP partition, create a new one, and install Windows 7 that way?

Personally, I would do this
