Try AppCleaner or one of its ilk. Or you can just delete it from the Applications folder, then delete the preference files from ~/Library/Application Support/Preferences/ and like /Library/Application Support/Preferences/.

deleting the preference files worked thanks a lot! i tried app cleaner earlier but it didnt work.
