Clean install OS X but keep iLife?

Is it possible to reinstall OS X and also reinstall iLife so I don't need to download it afterwards?

I.e. is it possible to reinstall your Mac so when it reboots after the install, it is EXACTLY like it was when it booted for the first time?

Nope... if you do a clean install, iLife will be gone and you will need to reinstall from the App Store.
