clean install problems

Hi,

I have been trying to do a clean install of my new MBP. However when I start the installation I do not see the Erase and Install option. I want to reset everything and set up a new name for the computer, accounts, and then install only the applications I need. OS is Snow Leopard.

What options do you see?

There is just Install ... and it asks where to install it. No options if I want to repair or erase everything ...

or I just might be an idiot ...
