My imac has been really slowing down lately, so I thought I'd reinstall snow leopard and see if it helped. After erasing the hard drive and reinstalling the OS, I thought I would restore everything off of time machine.

My question is - would this result in the same slow-down's I'm currently experiencing? In other words, should I manually restore (data, programs, etc) instead of using time machine?

Any help would be appreciated.
