After seeing performance issues with upgrading from Snow Leopard to Lion, I decided to do a clean install of Lion.

I followed a tutorial from Mashable where I use Disk Utility to Restore a fresh copy of Lion to my Macintosh HD. So I basically wiped out everything on my HDD and copied the file InstallESD.dmg to my HDD.

Now when I reboot, I get the bong and then it stays at the grey screen. I can't even hold down the option key to bring up the drives. Does anyone know how I can fix this urgently??

Any help would be appreciated!!!!!!!!
