Clean install?

Well, everyone's talking about the so-called "Clean install". I really think of doing a clean installation of my ML copy, but I don't want to loose my data. But I will do it. I just want to know if anyone has experienced any speed improvement on their clean installation.

Be sure to backup your data before doing any reinstall. It may or may not improve performance.
