I ask how to clean out my keyboard because I saw a dumb little bug get in by the F4 key inside it. Dumb I know but I wonder if it would have adverse effects on its use mid & long term?

Staples sells compressed air but you have to have an ID.

It's managed to get inside already. Hence my question.:(

You missed my point, get an exterminator to kill the bugs in your house if there that bad that they are crawling all over your Macbook pro , while your waiting for him why not use a vacuum cleaner and suck the little bug out?

Hence my answer. See above.

I did read your answer but mine was done to answer Arnie...
BTW, how exactly does compress air work? How would I apply it to my cMBP? Ask because I have not the slightest clue what you refer to.

It comes in a can, and you squeeze the nozzle and a jet of compressed air comes rushing out with such force that it will pop out any dirt or, I guess bugs from the keyboard.

I live in Puerto Rico where living within suburbs with open doors is quite common. Plus its more common to have animals everywhere. I guess you don't see that in mayor urban areas on the mainland. It's not a problem, per se, beyond the fact that a stupid bug managed to get inside my keyboard. I mean, what are the probabilities of that?
