I've had my "New" (I still have a hard time calling a computer from 2012 new) Mac Mini for a couple months now and have not started any major projects on it. I installed Pro Tools 8 and was using an older audio recording interface, but the amount of tweaks I've had to do to get old software/hardware to run on a new computer and OS just isn't worth it. I purchased a new audio interface and the new version of Pro Tools and am just going to start over again. I've dropped all the files I need on to an external, and just want to wipe the system so I can start over without having the audio/midi errors that plague my current setup. My mail is all in the cloud. Have not even imported music and photos from my old system.
Amy suggestions about the easiest way to approach this?
