Hello! I have the an apple wired full size keyboard. Yesterday I had a not so great idea of cleaning it with rubbing alcohol. so i got a piece of cotton and dampened it in alcohol and made sure to remove the excess of it prior to cleaning my keyboard. Everything was working fine afterwards but today my keyboard COMPLETELY stopped working.

I now have read over several forums that alcohol isnt the best way to clean apple products. However, I wanna know if soemhow this keyboard can be repaired by apple experts or someone else, or should I get rid of it. Also home tips are welcome.

EDIT: When I plug the keyboard into a HUB it reads out that I need more power, and when connected directly to my imac the caps lock light turns on and off

Thanks!!

Buy some electronics cleaner and spray it down. Maybe that will clear up the connections. Otherwise, wait for it to dry out.
