cleaning a camcorder?

Hi folks,

Any suggestions for websites showing how to clean a camcorder? I tried google with no luck. i need to clean 2 camcorders now (both hi8/digital8 type)....both older and out of warranty so i'm not worried about breaking any warranties. i need to clean them and before i attempt, i should read something first i think?

I did find a local store, but they said it could take a few days and it's over $60 so i'm thinking i'm techie enough to give it a whirl first..

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
