Cleaning a MACBOOK

Hey!
I have some fingerprint marks around my trackpad on my macbook, and have some smudges on the screen too. How would I clean these off? Also on the lid of the macbook, (the side where the big apple is), I have some hairline scratches. I this normal?

White?* If so, hardly normal, but it is happening.

I used a slightly moist paper towel for the screen, then run it over the outer casing, seems to do the trick.
