My 2006 mbp 12" overheats to the point of shutdown on the simplest tasks (such as viewing a vid on youtube)

It is old and i'm not comparing it with my modern mbp but i'd like to clean it up so it can perform simple tasks the best it can

So i want to clean out the dust, i did this on my unibody already, but from what i've read/seen it's not nearly as easy on the old models..

Has anyone got a link to a SPECIFIC guide on this for the 12" mbp?

I can find it for the 15" but not the 12"

Thanks

If it's a 12" laptop, then you're dealing with the 12" PowerBook G4. You can find repair and disassembly manuals on iFixit.
