I recently obtained a Summer 2001 iMac G3, and just this morning I took a look inside. I was astounded by all of the dust and little pieces of debris that certainly should not be in there. There is even some stuff inside the speakers. I want to get all of this out, so I've come to the conclusion that I need to somehow take off the translucent plastic dome, and possibly the bottom white part too. There is very little helpful information on the web, so I figured maybe someone here would know how to perform this procedure. Thanks for any help.
