iPod Cleaning iPod Screen

I have been using Brasso to clean my 5G iPod screen for the last few minutes and it seems to be working well.

I have a question, it may be stupid, but I need to ask.

Brasso and other cleaners are abrasive and work by removing a small layer of the plastic, yes?

Is so, can you actually destroy the screen, or rub through it? If so, I figure it would take some time, but I am just concerned...

In theory, yeah, you could go straight through the screen... Eventually...

I wouldn't worry too much about it though. I use Windex on my iPod (same with my Macs) because I think it's slightly less heavy-duty.
