Hi, I have my one year old MBP 15" mid 2014 with 16Gb RAM and 512Gb SSD and I hope that it will serve me good for next few years without any problem.
I was thinking how can I maintain my MBP in good condition to avoid any issues.

I think that is good idea to clean MPB once in time to be sure, that temperature is not a problem. By cleaning I think to open the notebook and blow the dust out and replace cooling paste.

Do you think this is good idea/practice? How often should I do it?

Thank you for your opinions.

Re cooling paste - Not in any way necessary as routine maintenance. More likely to cause issues than avoid them.

Remove the bottom and blow out any dust if you will, personally I've not needed to remove any dust as there is no appreciable buildup but that likely depends on the environment you use it in.
