Hi Everyone,

I'm primarily looking to disinfect my powerbook. I've used the iKlear wipes, but is it ok to also use chlorox wipes to really disinfect it? It got pretty dirty over some period of use.

Also, is it ok to wipe the chlorox wipes (wet) over the trackpad, while the computer is turned off? Or will this damage the trackpad?

Your help is much appreciated.:)

Clorox wipes are perfectly fine to use on your computer, just don't dip it in a vat of bleach :p. The trackpad is safe to wipe too, just make sure the power is off, and that it is dry when you turn it back on. Pray tell, why are you disinfecting your PowerBook? That could be an interesting story.

Just to corroborate; wipes are safe. Make sure your stuff's dry though, or else you get "jumpy trackpad".

But a story would be good :D

I wish I had an interesting story to tell. It's just after the amount of grime on it, I want to make sure that this puppy isn't carrying any germs.

Thanks for the help!! :D
