cleaning up my mac app

hi everyone,

i'm a first time mac user and was wondering what app you guys would recomand to keep my mac clean.

there are apps like cleanmymac but before buying i'd like to know if they are worth the money and don't mess up my computer.

anny help would be greatly appreciated

well nothing in particular really, i just want to keep my mac clean, to have it run as smooth as can be.

hard drives fragmented, make sure unnecessarily files are not left behind on the computer, caches...etc

There is no need to do anything unless you have an issue. Generally, files are created for a reason so removing some files can cause issues.

Caches are cleared automatically but if you really want to do something, use OnyX

Id recommend the maintenance version over onyx for your purposes. You just want to clean up the MAC with maintenance scripts / Cache files etc... Onyx lets you unlock more features etc as well as maintenance.
