General Clear Badges not working? Deleted badges coming back

So is it just me or does ClearBadges not clear badges completely?? I will hold the icon, double-tap and clear them, then after a respring or just some time later they come back. Why is that??

Depends on which apps you use it on. App Store is the most obvious.

Not sure about AppStore usually update right away but for me it's games DrawSomething etc

is there no other alt?
