Clear key seems to be sending Esc

The Clear key on my Apple Wireless Keyboard has stopped working the way it should.

It's not sending number lock in Windows Remote Desktop like it should; it's not sending number lock in World of Warcraft like it should. It appears to be sending the equivalent of the escape key.

I'm not sure how else to test it; it's working fine as Clear in the calculator widget, for instance.

Any ideas?

try disconnecting and reconnecting.

Tried that, along with logging out and back in, and restarting. The key just sends Esc instead of numlock to these programs now. It's incredibly annoying.
